Mock Court Room
In many cases, our attorneys have tried our client’s cases before they have walked into court. Lomurro Davison was one of the first law firms in New Jersey to have a mock court room in our office, keeping us one step ahead of other firms. The courtroom and the adjoining conference rooms are designed for our attorneys and clients to prepare for their courtroom experience.
There are many elements that go into a successful trial. The most important is preparation. Our state-of-the-art courtroom features all of the needed elements including the judge’s bench, a witness stand, jury box and attorneys’ tables with wireless computers and internet access. This gives our attorneys a realistic environment to measure the strengths and weaknesses of both the plaintiff and the defense and enables them to alter and perfect their trial strategy according to the feedback from the mock jurors. Clients present their case before jurors who are recruited from the same geographical venue where the case is going to trial. A retired judge usually presides over these mock trials and jurors are paid for their time. Our mock courtroom incorporates the most sophisticated computer and media technologies available in modern courts today. Its wireless technology includes computers and monitors, video and sound recording and playback. Cameras let our trial team watch and listen in on jury deliberations allowing us to gain a great understanding of what appealed to and what turned off jurors and the strengths and weaknesses of the case allowing us to adjust our litigation strategy as needed.
We believe that our courtroom setting is invaluable and has helped Lomurro Davison win great trial victories and achieve significant settlements for our clients.
Lomurro Davison has also given students from our surrounding communities the invaluable gift of a real-life setting to sharpen their courtroom skills.
