Rich Lomurro and Erik Yngstrom of Lomurro Law in Freehold, New Jersey obtained the settlement on behalf of a 38-year-old father of three who was permanently injured in the crash.
The client was severely injured in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike caused by an out-of-control dump truck.
The nearly $2-million-dollar settlement was reached after three days of mediation in November.
Client faced years of pain and surgeries
Attorneys Rich Lomurro and Erik Yngstrom – both partners at the law firm – negotiated the settlement for their client, who filed a lawsuit in Monmouth County. The 36-year-old man experienced years of pain and medical treatment that included several fusion surgeries on his neck and lower back.
The plaintiff sustained injuries in a collision that occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike. A dump truck – driving in the adjoining lane – struck the plaintiff’s car, which violently spun across three lanes of traffic before crashing into the center median.
